A Manhole is a vertical shaft that allows access to sewer or storm-water lines usually at a junction to assist with connections, direction changes, inspections and repairs. Catch basins & Drain Manholes collect surface water from an area and direct it to an outlet location while Sewer Manholes are for sewer applications and are booted & coated to better seal the transport. There are also many variations of Manhole tops to assist the end-user in customized access.
